In what experts are calling "the most obvious phishing attempt of the year," Mina Bellalem has fallen victim to a fake New York Times website, proving once again that even the most confident geriatrics can be fooled by a (not-very) convincing parody.

Sources close to the situation report that Mina clicked on what appeared to her to be a legitimate news link, only to discover moments later that she had fallen for an incredibly obvious attempt. As predicted, might we add.

"We've seen many phishing attempts over the years," said imaginary cybersecurity expert Dr. I. M. Fake, "but this one was particularly effective because it relied on the victim's natural curiosity. Also, it was her birthday, so she was probably distracted by all the well-wishes."

Just in case you didn't fall for this and I have effectively forced you to click on this; my apologies for doubting you but at this point I really would quite like you to at least see this. Happy Birthday anyway.
